Solangé Skincare partners with
The Woman’s Personal Health Resource
SAN JOSE, Calif. – March 6, 2006 – Solangé Skincare
today announced that The Woman’s Personal Health Resource,
an elegant boutique store for women battling cancer, will carry
specialized Solangé products. This special partnership
was born from the passion of two women, Barbara Zarrell and Melissa
Conaulty, whose companies are focused in helping with the fight
against cancer and its effects.
Barbara Zarrell, owner of The Woman’s Personal Health
Resource, was a registered nurse working with cancer patients
for over 20 years. Through her daily contact with women
dealing with cancer, she realized there was a need for a comfortable,
private and caring place to buy specialty type products. The
Woman’s Personal Health Resource specializes in providing
an amazing selection of the latest mastectomy products, including
prosthesis, bras, exercise wear, camisoles and bathing suits. They

The founder of Solangé, Melissa Conaulty, lost a dear
friend to Melanoma at the age of 42. Melissa’s vision
was to create highly effective natural products that protect
the skin from damage due to overexposure to the sun and other
environmental factors. This inspired her to work closely
with the Skin Cancer Foundation and eventually lead to the partnership
with Zarrell.
“I choose the name Solangé because it means “Angel
of the Sun”, states Melissa Conaulty. “Because
our mission is to eliminate cancer forever, Solangé will
donate 1% of our company profits to the American Cancer Society.”
